I never quite know what to say when I introduce myself in these spaces, I feel they are a bit too forced, no one ever uses bad language*, and they tend to be a tad too “on-the-surface”.

I like to go deep and I’d much rather talk about you instead. I don’t know any other way.

If you are I were meeting for coffee with plenty of time or walking together with no place to be, I’d share with you what I’ve learned from working with successful people in creating a whole new way of growing in their lives:

A lot of us think we just need to find the rights tool to implement in order to revolutionize or uplevel our life. We want to be pushed to our fullest potential. We’re seeking better, but often we don’t know what that looks like.

So we do what we know … we pursue more.

We pursue more knowledge (in things like personal development or business books and podcasts) or “expert help” (from the coach or mentor who will tell us what to do.) We implement, with precision, the exact strategies and tactics we learned that will make everything better. Yes, they work… but, they fall flat. Not fully producing the results we thought they would. We find that no matter how much we control, compartmentalize and achieve ... our desire for “better” still won’t go away. This becomes the thing we search for preventing us from living whole and complete.

But here is where I look you directly in your eyes, smile and lovingly tell you … A lot of us have it all wrong.

It’s time to stop looking outside yourself to find things that will make you better. Close your eyes so you can start to see. Set aside what you think you know and simply notice what is already there.

You are ready to create a different relationship with your life.

When you wedge together the excitement of the unknown and the willingness to do your personal work, everything you already know is about to be pulled up to the next level. Hold on because your experience of life is about to exceed what you thought possible. It may seem hard, it definitely takes effort and creating it is easier than you think.
